New Appointment - Pallay Raunu

Cake is delighted to announce the appointment of Pallay Raunu as RIA and UI Technologist.

Pallay Raunu is the Ruby on Rails guru, RIA & UI Technologist, and all-round software engineer at Cake Solutions Limited where he works with a variety of SMB and enterprise companies to take advantage of Java, Ruby based technologies.

Graduating with a Mathematical Physics degree from the University of Edinburgh, Pallay went on to design and develop the personalised browser-based new aggregator at ensembli limited in Sheffield.

Pallay is currently working on a variety of projects utililising HAML, SASS, unobtusive JavaScript and RSpec and is an invaluable resource in stategising and building scalable web based applications.

When not hacking at code, Pallay can been seen destroying Arduino kits, making Objective-C based applications for iPhones and Mac’s, or downhilling on his shiny mountain bike.
