The Variety Club North West was referred to Cake Solutions to resurrect their website which for a variety of reasons was completely offline.
Andrew Chalkley, Cake Solutions' Ruby on Rails expert managed to sort out all the issues much to the delight of the Variety Club.
Since then Guy Remond has been asked to sit on the local Variety Club of Great Britain committee where plans for fund raising events are discussed and organised and applications for funding are considered. Cake has been updating the current Variety Club North West website adding an events section and making the site more search engine friendly. The next stage is to give the website an e-commerce section where the public can book and pay for Variety Club events. This is the first part of the longer term plan which will allow certain processes to happen more efficiently allowing the Variety Club team to concentrate more on the fund raising than administration. The website will also become a more efficient marketing tool helping to generate more interest in a very worth while cause.
The Variety Club are extremely pleased with all the tremendous support by Cake Solutions in rectifying the problems with the Variety Club charity web-site
